As we continue to grow, we are expanding our Multi-Family & Commercial Division and are seeking a Project Manager to support this fast-growing segment of our business. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, entrepreneurial team and play a key role in scaling a high-impact division.

Position Overview

The Multi-Family Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through close-out, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest level of quality.

This role will manage projects ranging from approximately $100,000 to $2 million and will be based in Baltimore, with regular field visits required. Projects are located throughout Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region, all within driving distance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

  • Manage all phases of multi-family projects from pre-construction through completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work
  • Coordinate material procurement, deliveries, and jobsite logistics
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress and maintain alignment with project goals

 

Financial & Cost Control

  • Track project budgets, costs, and profitability
  • Review and manage purchase orders, invoices, and change orders
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and performance
  • Assist in forecasting and managing project margins

Client & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and project stakeholders
  • Provide consistent communication, updates, and problem resolution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to drive repeat business

Team & Vendor Coordination

  • Work closely with internal sales, operations, and logistics teams
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel
  • Ensure timely execution and accountability across all parties

Quality, Risk & Close-Out

  • Ensure all materials and project deliverables meet company and client expectations
  • Identify and mitigate project risks proactively
  • Oversee punch list completion and final project close-out
  • Maintain accurate documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change order

 


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in construction or multi-family residential
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with building materials, construction processes, and jobsite coordination
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organization: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Problem Solving: Ability to think proactively and resolve issues efficiently
  • Technical Skills: Comfort with project management tools, Excel, and construction documentation
  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated, accountable, and driven to succeed
